BSNL has recently launched new scheme for their customers in India, in which the customer can receive notification from Facebook and respond them back without an Internet connection. In technical term it is quit made possible by the USSD scheme named as Unstructured Supplementary Service Data Technology.
The company BSNL charged small amount for accessing Facebook without an Internet and the starting plan is Rs 4 in that the customer can get access of using Facebook without Internet for 3 days, Rs 10 for one week pack and monthly plan will go up to Rs 20.
BSNL tied with the mobile company named as U2opia Mobile to make this scheme into a reality. This service only available for the peoples who are residing in southern and Eastern parts of India, and other two zones will be receiving as soon in upcoming month.
The above said USSD technology which is used by telecom operators to send alerts to their users. The user can even use it for pre paid call, location based content services and menu based information services.
Through this USSD, the customer from BSNL can able to sign in their Facebook accounts view and post their status messages as well as respond to their friend request and able to access all features without an internet connection.
Simply says that all kind of handsets can able to access Facebook without an Internet connection.
