Now, you may find the song lyrics with links to Google Play!!

Google’s enhanced knowledge graph with direct answers now peeps out with special song lyrics box for the lyrics queries in the search results. Now you can see songs lines with lyrics websites as the answers for song searches in Google search results.

It seems, this new feature has been added last week and is being noticed since December 22, 2014.

Here is how it looks like:

For example, if you search for [stairway to heaven lyrics], you can see the following:

and the end you will find, Full Lyrics on Google Play showing this

The first person to notice this is Glenn Gabe who shared it on his Google+ page.

Google Plus Lyrics

This new feature is powered by Google Play, and it was first spotted by SERoundtable (via Techcrunch) that Google Search has started displaying song lyrics at the top of search results when user inputs query.

Also, there is a link to the “Full Lyrics on Google Play”, which is seen alongside the text which takes the users to the Google Play Platform.

This seems to be some good boost for the lyrics websites that are seeking traffic from Google and it is a big concern for them to move forward ahead of competitions.

It is to be noted that Bing has started adding Full Song Lyrics to their search results in October itself.
