Google’s latest big deal is for Android One. What is it? Is it an OS? Are they affordable? There are so many questions that Google would love to answer!!
Google Android One is smart phone programme where the giant Google is partnered with some hardware companies to produce low-cost “High Quality” Android Smartphones!!
Sundar Pichai, the great mastermind behind this programme is an Indian. He is the most “powerful man in Mobile” and he goes viral and has been already become an inspiration for the youngsters in India.
Pichai Sundararajan says “India could make the biggest source of growth for Android in the coming future”. The Android One technology is most preferably innovated for those who still use a featured mobile who wish to buy smart phone at affordable rates.
To our surprise, India is the first country where the Android One Smartphones are to be launched. Google is all set to launch three devices partnering with Karbonn, Micromax and Spice under the initiative of Android One.
India is the first nation to have Android One Smartphones priced at Rs. 6399 onwards!!
It is estimated that around 1.5 to 2 billion Android One handsets will be sold out this year. With such a low cost of the devices, Android One will definitely provide a better experience to the users. The Smartphones will come with latest Android KitKat 4.4 and gets automatic updates for up to 2 years.
For Airtel SIM card users, this will be more beneficial as every month they will be getting FREE 100MB internet for the download of OS updates and FREE 200MB to download app updates for six months. The Android One technology, the new family of Android devices will also be partnering few more companies like HTC, Xolo, Lava, Asus, Alcatel Onetouch, Intex, Panasonic and Lenovo.
Google is already winning the global market-shares and becoming the most popular challenges to Nokia, Microsoft and Firefox in the development of cheap phones with ultimate user-experience.
